Deck overview

This deck executes an aggressive Naya Equipment strategy centered on Cloud, Ex-SOLDIER. Cloud solves the traditional tempo loss of Equipment decks by featuring innate haste and automatically attaching a chosen Equipment upon entering the battlefield. By equipping high-power artifacts like Colossus Hammer or Excalibur, Sword of Eden immediately, Cloud attacks on Turn 4 as a massive threat that draws cards and creates Treasure tokens on every combat swing. The deck accelerates development through efficient ramp, cost reducers, and free-equip enablers such as Puresteel Paladin, Forge Anew, and Ardenn, Intrepid Archaeologist. It tutors critical pieces using Stoneforge Mystic, Fighter Class, and Steelshaper's Gift. Protection spells like Deflecting Swat, Flawless Maneuver, and Teferi's Protection shield the board, while Sunforger provides instant-speed access to removal and defense. When unblocked, Cloud threatens rapid eliminations through double strike, extra combats, or an infinite loop with Aggravated Assault and Sword of Feast and Famine.
