The rebellion by user8855422

Format: Commander

Commander: Drana and Linvala

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

An Orzhov lifegain/recursion deck built around Vampires, Clerics, and Angels. The primary plan is to gain small amounts of life repeatedly, convert those triggers into +1/+1 counters through Archangel of Thune, and finish with an alpha strike using Akroma's Will or a large X-drain spell amplified by Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose. Drana and Linvala acts as a stax piece that shuts off opponents' activated abilities and can borrow those abilities when useful, but she is not the engine or win condition. Secondary paths include graveyard recursion with Drana the Last Bloodchief, Liesa, Reanimate, and Living Death, plus token generation and card advantage from Preacher of the Schism and Twilight Prophet. There is no hidden commander; the Drana-named legends are tribal support.
