Deck overview

This deck is a classic mono-black Zombie Tribal Aristocrats strategy commanded by Ghoulcaller Gisa. The game plan revolves around deploying efficient Zombie creatures, establishing tribal lords like Death Baron and Undead Warchief, and using Gisa to convert tall power into an exponential swarm of 2/2 Zombie tokens. Once a critical mass of undead is assembled, the deck applies relentless combat pressure backed by evasion from Lord of the Accursed and life-draining aristocrat triggers from Ayara, First of Locthwain, Vengeful Dead, and Gray Merchant of Asphodel. Graveyard recursion via Gravecrawler, Lord of the Undead, and Oversold Cemetery provides sustained grind against attrition. While the deck possesses explosive token doubling and powerful asymmetric board clearing with Noxious Ghoul, its reliance on Gisa surviving summoning sickness without built-in protection makes it susceptible to well-timed spot removal and sweepers.
