Deck overview

This Simic deck converts counters and untap synergies into an overwhelming combat and mana engine led by Sin, Unending Cataclysm. In the opening turns, dense 1–2 CMC ramp accelerates mana while untappers like Kiora's Follower and Aphetto Alchemist multiply resource output. The deck leverages permanents that enter with disadvantageous counters, such as The Watcher in the Water, turning their drawbacks into fuel for Sin. When Sin enters the battlefield, it strips these counters to become a massive flying, trampling behemoth while simultaneously unlocking its supporting creatures. Backed by potent creature tutors like Chord of Calling and Finale of Devastation, the deck maintains steady card access and redundancy. If Sin is removed or held in check, alternate win routes such as an explosive Finale of Devastation, an exponentially charged The Millennium Calendar, or a scaled Walking Ballista reliably close out the game.
