Deck overview

This deck is a Sultai Big Mana strategy commanded by Zaxara, the Exemplary, blending aggressive Hydra tribal stompy with compact infinite mana combos. The deck leverages efficient early ramp to deploy Zaxara on Turn 3, unlocking explosive mana acceleration and generating massive Hydra tokens with every X-spell cast. Drawing into Freed from the Real or Pemmin's Aura enables an infinite colored mana loop with Zaxara, immediately funneling into table-killing outlets like Torment of Hailfire, Exsanguinate, or Finale of Devastation. Even without the combo, the deck rapidly establishes an overwhelming battlefield using counter doublers like Branching Evolution and Kalonian Hydra, evasion from Herald of Secret Streams, and powerful draw engines such as Up the Beanstalk and Garruk's Uprising. The list is protected by a premier interaction suite featuring free spells like Fierce Guardianship, Force of Will, and Deadly Rollick.
