Deck overview

This deck is an Esper Flying Tokens and Midrange Control strategy commanded by Alela, Artful Provocateur. The primary game plan focuses on casting efficient artifacts and enchantments to build a wide swarm of evasive Faerie tokens, utilizing static anthems like Favorable Winds and Intangible Virtue to boost their combat stats. High-velocity draw engines including Bident of Thassa, Reconnaissance Mission, and Skullclamp convert evasive hits and disposable tokens into a continuous flow of cards. Defensive tax pieces like Blind Obedience, Ghostly Prison, and Ashiok, Dream Render slow down opponents while a robust suite of instant-speed removal and countermagic protects the board. The deck typically achieves a decisive combat finish on Turn 8 through accumulated flying damage and overrun effects like Moonshaker Cavalry.
