Deck overview

This Simic midrange deck is commanded by Mikey & Don, Party Planners, leveraging an aggressive +1/+1 counter and Mutagen token engine combined with Ninja, Mutant, and Turtle typal synergies. The game plan focuses on rapid early-game mana acceleration to cast the commander by turn 4. Once established, the commander turns the top of the library into an extended hand, casting creatures with built-in counter buffs and playing extra lands. Scaling enchantments such as Branching Evolution, Hardened Scales, and Doubling Season rapidly inflate creature power. The deck transitions into lethal combat on turns 6 through 8 using team evasion from Baxter, Fly in the Ointment, unblockable pressure from Kappa Cannoneer, or asymmetric one-sided board wipes like Wave Goodbye. Dedicated protection spells and countermagic safeguard the board against wipe attempts while the deck overwhelms the table.
