Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Naya +1/+1 counters strategy commanded by Shalai and Hallar. The game plan revolves around turning every +1/+1 counter placed on your creatures into direct damage targeted at opponents' life totals. The deck ramps on Turns 1 and 2 to deploy the commander on Turn 3 or 4, quickly assembling powerful counter engines like Branching Evolution, Hardened Scales, and Ouroboroid. Once assembled, the deck creates a dual-threat clock by dealing significant non-combat burn while simultaneously assembling massive trampling attackers. Protection spells like Heroic Intervention, Silkguard, and Semester's End safeguard key pieces against removal. While it contains an infinite damage loop with War Elemental, the absence of dedicated tutors means the deck primarily wins through compounding combat damage and burn over a fast multi-turn clock.
