New Untitled Deck by Ripcurltb

Format: Commander

Commander: Rowan, Scion of War

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This Rakdos life-as-resource deck uses Rowan, Scion of War to turn life loss into mana discounts. You pay life with Wall of Blood, Blood Celebrant, Treasonous Ogre, Doom Whisperer and pain lands, tap Rowan as a sorcery, then cast expensive black and red spells for little or no mana. Vilis, Broker of Blood and Sheoldred, the Apocalypse act as hidden commanders, pairing with Peer into the Abyss and Ad Nauseam to draw half your deck, while Bolas's Citadel and Gwenom let you play from the top by paying life. You close with Exsanguinate, Torment of Hailfire, Crackle with Power or Jaya's Immolating Inferno, or grind value with K'rrik and M.O.D.O.K.
