Commander: Sheoldred, the Apocalypse

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This deck is a highly focused Mono-Black lifegain and punishment strategy helmed by Sheoldred, the Apocalypse. The primary game plan revolves around deploying Sheoldred and leveraging symmetric card draw effects like Teferi's Puzzle Box and Howling Mine to passively drain opponents while padding your own life total. The deck is incredibly lethal, utilizing multiple interlocking infinite combos, including the classic Exquisite Blood loops with redundant pieces like Enduring Tenacity and Bloodthirsty Conqueror. Additionally, it features the Bolas's Citadel storm engine and a Gravecrawler sacrifice loop for massive inevitability. Sheoldred herself acts as a devastating combo outlet with Peer into the Abyss to instantly eliminate players. The deck plays like a relentless, inevitable force that taxes opponents' resources while assembling an unstoppable win condition, supported by a dense suite of fast mana, premium tutors, and efficient interaction.
