Deck overview

The Ur-Dragon deck is a five-color dragon battlecruiser that uses Eminence to make every Dragon spell cheaper while it ramps into a critical mass of flying threats. The primary plan is reducer-assisted development into an overwhelming attack, usually pairing Atarka, World Render with Scourge of the Throne for double strike and an extra combat. Klauth or Savage Ventmaw can fund The Ur-Dragon in the postcombat main phase. Secondary paths are Dragon Tempest/Scourge of Valkas/Warstorm Surge burn and Dracogenesis/Scion of the Ur-Dragon cheating. Scion acts as a hidden commander/tutor. The commander itself is powerful but not the only engine; the deck can still win without ever casting it.
