Deck overview

This deck is a mono-blue control strategy that leverages Gogo, Master of Mimicry to duplicate powerful triggered and activated abilities. The early game focuses on establishing mana velocity through low-cost artifacts and playing Gogo ahead of curve. The midgame uses proliferate mechanics, card-draw engines like Archmage Emeritus and The Theorist, Jace Beleren, and Gogo's copying ability to accumulate massive resource disparity. A premier suite of free counterspells protects the board and keeps opponents from assembling wins. The deck transitions into the late game by deploying Hullbreaker Horror, an uncounterable flash threat that repeatedly bounces opposing spells and permanents. Backed by overloaded Cyclonic Rift, Dark Depths combinations, and kicked copies of Rite of Replication, the deck systematically locks opponents out of meaningful resources and closes through combat damage.
