Deck overview

This deck is a five-color Assassin kindred strategy led by Ezio Auditore da Firenze. The game plan revolves around casting Ezio early to exploit his menace evasion, dealing combat damage to unlock freerunning for subsequent Assassin spells. By reducing high-mana threats like Ezio, Blade of Vengeance, Aya of Alexandria, and Bayek of Siwa to just {B}{B}, the deck floods the board with evasive beaters. Secondary synergies reward historic spells, legendary permanents, and Equipment. Once life totals are softened, Ezio's activated combat damage trigger threatens instant player elimination if an opponent has 10 or less life. However, because the mana base relies heavily on basic lands without dense multi-color fixing or fast artifact ramp, the deck operates at casual combat speeds and must carefully manage its colored pips to maintain tempo against opposing sweepers.
