Deck overview

This deck is a dedicated Mardu Vampire tribal aggro and aristocrats list commanded by Edgar Markov. Leveraging Edgar's Eminence ability, every low-cost Vampire cast immediately produces a 1/1 Vampire token from the command zone without requiring Edgar to be cast. The deck curves aggressively with 1- and 2-mana creatures to flood the battlefield, converting wide boards into lethal combat steps via Shared Animosity, Sanctum Seeker, Cordial Vampire, and Drana, Liberator of Malakir. Secondary win conditions include aristocrat drain loops with Blood Artist, Cruel Celebrant, and Dictate of Erebos, alongside the two-card infinite combo of Exquisite Blood and Sanguine Bond or Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose. While the list excels at rapid board development and rebuilding thanks to Eminence, its primary limitations stem from sparse instant-speed interaction and vulnerability to sweeping board wipes.
