Namor - the submarine by Ulbricht

Format: Commander

Commander: Namor the Sub-Mariner

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Namor the Sub-Mariner leads a mono-blue spellslinger tempo deck that converts blue mana pips into an aggressive Merfolk army. The primary plan revolves around resolving Namor early and casting inexpensive noncreature spells like cantrips, counterspells, and interaction to generate swarms of Merfolk tokens. These tokens simultaneously inflate Namor into a lethal airborne threat and build a wide ground force. Victory is achieved through evasive combat damage enabled by Deepchannel Mentor and islandwalking lords like Lord of Atlantis and Master of the Pearl Trident, reinforced by Harbinger of the Seas turning enemy lands into Islands, or late-game loops with Hullbreaker Horror.
