Ghalta and by BeverKnight

Format: Commander

Commander: Ghalta and Mavren

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a **Selesnya midrange combat deck** helmed by Ghalta and Mavren, a massive 12/12 trample creature that generates a huge token each time it attacks. The primary plan is to ramp into big Dinosaurs and token makers, then use the commander's attack trigger to flood the board with either an X/X Dinosaur or a swarm of lifelinking Vampires. The deck leverages anthem effects (Intangible Virtue, Maja, Bretagard Protector, Queen Allenal of Ruadach), populate spells, and instant-speed token creation (March of the Multitudes, Rite of Harmony) to overwhelm opponents through combat. It has no infinite combos and relies entirely on incremental board presence and trample to close out games. The secondary plan involves beating down with high-power Dinosaurs like Zetalpa, Primal Dawn, Thrasta, Tempest's Roar, and Ghalta, Primal Hunger.
