Deck overview

This Izzet spellslinger deck, helmed by Rootha, Mastering the Moment, aims to cast high-mana-value instants and sorceries to create enormous flying, hasty Elemental tokens. The primary game plan is to deploy cost reducers and treasure generators, then chain extra combat spells and token doublers to overwhelm opponents with a single explosive turn. Secondary win conditions include Scourge of the Throne for repeated extra combats, Temporal Trespass for an extra turn, and Surge to Victory to copy a key spell while pumping the board. The deck leans heavily on its commander for token production but has several backup token makers and copy effects to maintain pressure.
