desert bloom by user6222785

Format: Commander

Commander: Yuma, Proud Protector

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Yuma, Proud Protector is a graveyard-lands value engine: the deck fills its graveyard with lands, plays them back from the graveyard, and turns every landfall into an army of Plants, Sand Warriors, Insects, and Elementals. Yuma's cost reduction and draw trigger encourage sacrificing lands, while his Desert trigger makes any Desert in the graveyard a 4/2 Plant Warrior. Hazezon, Shaper of Sand acts as a hidden commander for the Desert-token plan. Secondary paths burn through Omnath and Titania while Rumbleweed serves as a discounted finisher. There are no infinite combos here; wins come from overwhelming combat, mass recursion, and a late-game pump.
