Deck overview

This deck is a classic Dimir Zombie tribal strategy centered on graveyard recursion, swarm tactics, and anthem synergy. Commanded by Gisa and Geralf, the deck uses self-mill and sacrifice outlets to turn the graveyard into a second hand, casting a Zombie every turn cycle to maintain relentless card flow. Early turns focus on filling the graveyard with cards like Stitcher's Supplier and drawing cards with Cryptbreaker and Undead Augur. By turns 4 and 5, it establishes recursion engines and begins deploying powerful lord effects like Death Baron and Undead Warchief. In the mid-to-late game, the deck overwhelms opponents using massive token producers like Grave Titan and Necroduality, granting evasion with Geralf, Visionary Stitcher or draining life totals directly via The Scarab God and Shepherd of Rot. It provides robust resilience against single-target removal, though it remains cautious of mass graveyard exile.
