Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis Spellslinger Storm strategy commanded by Abaddon the Despoiler. The deck accelerates in the early game using efficient mana rocks, cost-reducing medallions, and rituals. Once Abaddon enters the battlefield, combat damage unlocks the Mark of Chaos Ascendant ability, granting cascade to spells cast from hand based on the total life opponents lost during the turn. This cascade velocity chains rituals, card selection, and burn spells together, generating high storm counts and large mana pools through Storm-Kiln Artist and Goldspan Dragon. The deck finishes the game decisively on Turn 6 by utilizing Past in Flames, Underworld Breach, or Thousand-Year Storm to execute lethal table-wide burn with Grapeshot or library depletion via Brain Freeze. Additionally, an infinite mana and storm loop between Mana Geyser and buyback Reiterate provides a compact backup win condition.
