Deck overview

This Mono-Red Dragon Stompy deck is built to leverage dragon tribal synergies and explosive mana acceleration to overwhelm opponents with colossal flying creatures and direct burn. Led by Lathliss, Dragon Queen, the game plan focuses on deploying early ramp and cost reducers like Dragonspeaker Shaman and Herald's Horn to cast the commander ahead of curve on Turn 4 or 5. Subsequent Dragon spells immediately trigger Lathliss to double the board's offensive presence with 5/5 flying tokens. Synergies with haste enablers like Dragon Tempest and damage amplifiers like Scourge of Valkas turn each creature cast into removal and direct life total pressure. While the deck possesses immense combat power and resilient backup beaters like Utvara Hellkite and Drakuseth, Maw of Flames, it remains vulnerable to early board sweepers and instant-speed removal targeting its high-cost engine pieces.
