Deck overview

This is a Gruul Wolves/Werewolves tribal combat deck helmed by Tovolar, Dire Overlord. The plan is to flood the board with Wolves and Human Werewolves, flip them to their stronger night faces, and convert combat damage into cards via Tovolar's trigger. Anthems and force-multipliers such as Shared Animosity, Beastmaster Ascension, Immerwolf, and Mayor of Avabruck turn a wide board into lethal swings, while Aggravated Assault pairs with attack-mana engines (Savage Ventmaw, Grand Warlord Radha, Druids' Repository) for infinite-combat finishes. Token makers (Hollowhenge Overlord, Huntmaster of the Fells, Nightpack Ambusher) and cheat-in enablers (Howlpack Piper, Finale of Devastation) keep the pressure high. Tovolar is the primary draw engine and night enabler but is not required for the infinite-combat lines; the 99 still closes through combat and Assault loops if he is answered.
