Deck overview

This deck is an optimized Izzet partner tempo-combo deck led by Malcolm, Keen-Eyed Navigator and Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar. The primary strategy accelerates mana by attacking with Malcolm while Kediss spreads combat damage to all opponents, generating three Treasure tokens on Turn 4. This burst of artifact mana fuels card selection and tutors to assemble a compact three-card infinite combo. By turning an artifact pinger such as Reckless Fireweaver or Ingenious Artillerist into a Pirate with cards like Trickery Charm, Wings of Velis Vel, or Runed Stalactite, every entering Treasure triggers noncombat damage to all opponents, which Malcolm converts into three more Treasures. The resulting loop deals lethal damage to the table in a single turn without giving opponents response cycles. Backed by cheap 1-mana protection spells and efficient countermagic, the deck blends early aggressive pressure with consistent combo inevitability.
