Deck overview

This deck is a Rakdos Vampire tribal strategy led by Strefan, Maurer Progenitor. The game plan revolves around dealing incidental damage to opponents on early turns using cards like Voldaren Epicure and Creeping Bloodsucker to generate multiple Blood tokens on your end step. Once Strefan attacks, he sacrifices two Blood tokens to cheat formidable, high-cost Vampires directly onto the battlefield tapped, attacking, and indestructible. Threats like Vein Ripper, Olivia's Attendants, Necropolis Regent, and Crossway Troublemakers provide immediate board presence, massive damage, and severe aristocrat drain. The deck supports this aggressive engine with efficient targeted removal, reanimation options like Haunting Voyage and Olivia, Crimson Bride, and life-drain multipliers such as Bloodletter of Aclazotz. While vulnerable to well-timed removal on Strefan before combat, the list applies heavy pressure starting on turn 5 and consistently closes games around turn 7 through combat and life-loss triggers.
