Deck overview

This deck is a dedicated Golgari Spider tribal strategy led by Ishkanah, Grafwidow. It focuses on stalling the board with a dense wall of high-toughness, reach, and deathtouch creatures while building toward a critical mass of arachnids. Mana ramp spells and artifacts accelerate deployment into early spider bodies and self-mill pieces like Nyx Weaver to achieve delirium. Once delirium is active, casting Ishkanah, Grafwidow provides four bodies across 6 power and 11 toughness, stabilizing against opposing ground and aerial combat. The deck transitions into a win condition by resolving mass combat modifiers such as Overrun and Assault Formation, or by repeatedly activating Ishkanah's direct life-drain ability to grind down opponents. Interaction is heavily biased toward anti-flying destruction and flexible Golgari removal spells like Assassin's Trophy and Beast Within. The deck features high defensive stability and redundancy in creature bodies, but suffers from low raw card draw and heavy vulnerability to board sweepers.
