Flash Flying by Thiqqmeister

Format: Commander

Commander: Errant and Giada

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Azorius flying-tribal deck, helmed by Errant and Giada, aims to flood the board with evasive creatures and stack anthem effects to close out games through incremental combat damage. The commander's ability to cast spells with flash or flying from the top of the library provides steady card selection and enables instant-speed plays, keeping the deck reactive while building a board. Key synergies revolve around cost reducers like Grand Arbiter Augustin IV and Warden of Evos Isle, anthem pieces such as Empyrean Eagle and Favorable Winds, and draw engines like Windreader Sphinx and Enduring Curiosity. The deck packs a respectable suite of counterspells and removal to protect its board and disrupt opponents, but lacks fast combo finishes or reliable recursion, making it a mid-speed value-control strategy that wins through sustained aerial pressure.
