Fynn, The Fangbearer (Budget) by nidala

Format: Commander

Commander: Fynn, the Fangbearer

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a linear mono-green poison-tempo deck piloted by Fynn, the Fangbearer. The primary plan is to flood the table with cheap deathtouch creatures and convert every unblocked hit into two poison counters: five hits on a player is an elimination. A heavy fight-spell suite (Bite Down, Clear Shot, Rabid Bite, Master's Rebuke, Animist's Might) lets 1/1 deathtouchers assassinate blockers and utility creatures, while a small equipment package - Skeleton Key, Chitinous Cloak, Saddle of the Cavalier - supplies the evasion the combat clock needs. Proliferate effects (Courage in Crisis, Pollenbright Druid, Thirsting Roots) plus Infectious Bite provide a secondary, non-combat poison drip, and Hornet Queen is the deck's biggest single burst of potential poison. There are no combos; the deck wins incrementally, and almost every line requires Fynn to stay on the battlefield.
