Commander: The Notary Hobbits

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a green/colorless "big Eldrazi" ramp deck built around The Notary Hobbits as a mana multiplier rather than a combat commander. The Notary Hobbits enters and creates two nonlegendary token copies of itself, so the deck quickly controls three Halflings that each tap for one colorless mana per Halfling. Springleaf Parade changelings count as every creature type, including Halfling, so they supercharge that tap ability while also acting as mana dorks. That mana is poured into a parade of annihilator threats - Pathrazer of Ulamog, It That Betrays, Kozilek, the Great Distortion, and Void Winnower - with Zhulodok, Void Gorger turning each big colorless cast into extra spells. The secondary path is board control plus inevitability: Ugin, Eye of the Storms and All Is Dust clear colored permanents, while Planar Bridge and Defense of the Heart find the next haymaker. A long-game finisher exists in Summon: Bahamut's final chapter, which can hit every opponent at once.
