Deck overview

This deck is a flavorful Temur midrange build that combines the Cyclops-and-Homunculus pairing Borborygmos and Fblthp with an expansive pantheon of legendary Gods and thematic 'Lost' cards. The game plan focuses on curving out resilient, indestructible God creatures, leveraging their passive abilities and enter-the-battlefield triggers to generate value and control opposing creatures. The commander serves as a reliable card draw engine and targeted removal outlet by turning discarded lands into damage. Combat scaling is achieved through force multipliers such as Xenagos, God of Revels, Purphoros, God of the Forge, and God-Eternal Rhonas. Because the deck prioritizes flavor over competitive optimization, it relies on a high land count and natural draws rather than fast mana or infinite combos, resulting in a steady, resilient, but deliberate mid-to-late game combat clock.
