Deck overview

This Naya midrange deck turns Desert lands into aggressive creature armies and card advantage. Built around Yuma, Proud Protector, the deck fills the graveyard early using landcycling, fetchlands, and self-mill cards such as Satyr Wayfinder and Life from the Loam. This discounts Yuma, allowing the commander to arrive as early as Turn 4. Once assembled, Yuma converts sacrificed Deserts into 4/2 Plant Warrior tokens while drawing cards. The deck transitions into a game-ending threat on Turn 6 by casting mass land recursion spells like Splendid Reclamation or Aftermath Analyst, flooding the board with dozens of power in creature tokens. Backup engines like Titania, Protector of Argoth and Hazezon, Shaper of Sand ensure the deck can win even without its commander, while Rumbleweed and Garruk's Uprising provide the trample and pump necessary to punch through opposing blockers.
