Deck overview

This Sultai deck is led by The Wise Mothman and centers around radiation counters, milling, and +1/+1 counter proliferation. Early turns focus on establishing mana fixing and cheap counter enhancers like Hardened Scales or mill artifacts like Mesmeric Orb. Once The Wise Mothman lands on Turn 3 or 4, every instance of nonland cards being milled distributes +1/+1 counters across your board. The deck leverages this growth into lethal flying commander damage or massive graveyard-scaled beaters such as Consuming Aberration and Cruel Somnophage. Secondary routes utilize mill-based alternate wins through Phenax, God of Deception and The Mindskinner. Strong recursion engines like Muldrotha, the Gravetide and Evolution Witness provide resilience against opposing removal, while modular protection spells shield your modified creatures from sweepers.
