Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Jund Aristocrats Combo strategy led by Korvold, Fae-Cursed King. The game plan revolves around accelerating mana in the early turns using efficient mana dorks and rituals to deploy Korvold by Turn 4. Once on the battlefield, Korvold converts every sacrifice trigger—from Treasure tokens, fetchlands, and recursive creatures—into raw card advantage and escalating commander power. This card velocity quickly digs into deterministic sacrifice loops, primarily centering on Murderous Redcap paired with counter-negators like Grumgully, the Generous or Rhythm of the Wild, and a free sacrifice outlet like Viscera Seer, Carrion Feeder, or Goblin Bombardment. The deck backs up its combo attempts with robust protection including Deflecting Swat, Defense Grid, and Bolt Bend, while running deep creature recursion and flexible spot removal to maintain resilience across interactive multiplayer pods.
