New Untitled Deck by Poros

Format: Commander

Commander: Vivi Ornitier

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Izzet spellslinger list is built around Vivi Ornitier, a three-mana Wizard who places a +1/+1 counter on himself and pings each opponent whenever you cast a noncreature spell, then converts that power into a once-per-turn burst of blue or red mana. The deck deploys cheap cost reducers and magecraft engines, chains instants and sorceries to inflate Vivi, and closes with table-wide noncombat damage. Primary finishers are a large Chandra's Ignition, pings amplified by Artist's Talent or Fated Firepower, and long spell chains into Grapeshot. Insurrection and Omniscience are backup haymakers, while Niv-Mizzet, Visionary turns every ping into a wave of cards. There are no compact infinite combos; wins come from assembling a critical mass of spells and converting them into forty damage to each opponent. Vivi is the central mana battery and damage engine, but the 99 is a complete spellslinger pile with independent payoffs if he is removed. A dense counter suite keeps the stack honest while he grows.
