The Great Goblin by Roninwerks

Format: Commander

Commander: The Great Goblin

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Rakdos Goblin/Orc tribal aristocrats deck helmed by The Great Goblin. The primary game plan is to flood the board with goblin tokens, leverage death triggers and drain effects, and close out through either a wide combat swing backed by anthems or a compact persist-based infinite combo. The commander serves a dual role: it pings for 2 whenever counters are placed on a Goblin, Orc, or Army, and it exiles the top card of the library on every goblin death, providing a steady stream of impulse card advantage. The deck leans heavily on amass and blight mechanics, with Mauhur, Uruk-hai Captain doubling counters and Boggart Cursecrafter converting every goblin death into table-wide drain. Secondary win conditions include Collective Inferno doubling all goblin damage and the Murderous Redcap/Ashnod's Altar infinite damage loop. The deck plays as a midrange value engine that can pivot between aggressive swarm pressure and combo finishes.
