Deck overview

Thorin, King of Durin's Folk leads a Boros Dwarf tribal and Equipment aggro deck that converts artifact token generation into massive combat damage. The primary strategy establishes low-cost Dwarves and mana acceleration on turns 1 through 3, resolving Thorin by turn 4. Once assembled, Thorin creates Treasure tokens on every Dwarf entry and grants other Dwarves a static power buff equal to the number of artifact tokens controlled. The deck applies critical pressure on turn 5, utilizing combat multipliers like Akroma's Will, Two-Handed Axe, and Chandra's Ignition to eliminate opponents across two response cycles, closing the game around turn 7. A dedicated Sunforger package provides outstanding resilience by tutoring instant-speed protection like Teferi's Protection and Boros Charm on demand. While vulnerable to artifact sweepers, the deck maintains high redundancy through Equipment tutors and Magda, Brazen Outlaw to sustain aggressive momentum.
