Deck overview

This deck is a resilient Jund Aristocrats and Reanimator strategy piloted by Slimefoot and Squee. The primary game plan revolves around leveraging the commander's ability to generate Saproling tokens on entry and reanimate both itself and a high-impact creature from the graveyard for {1}{B}{R}{G} by sacrificing a Saproling at sorcery speed. The deck fuels its graveyard using efficient self-mill and tutors like Buried Alive, Entomb, and Fauna Shaman, binning powerhouse threats such as Korvold, Fae-Cursed King, Syr Konrad, the Grim, and Mirkwood Bats. Once the engine is online, free sacrifice outlets like Goblin Bombardment, Carrion Feeder, and Ashnod's Altar enable continuous sacrifice and reanimation loops that drain opponents' life totals through Blood Artist and Mayhem Devil. The deck provides robust recovery through auxiliary reanimation spells and asymmetric creature suppression via looped Plaguecrafter and Accursed Marauder triggers.
