Deck overview

This deck is a competitive 5-color toolbox and stax combo strategy commanded by Sisay, Weatherlight Captain. It pairs fast mana acceleration and dual-land fixing with high-impact asymmetric stax pieces such as Lavinia, Azorius Renegade, Deafening Silence, and Teferi, Time Raveler to suppress fast combo decks on Turns 1 and 2. Once mana acceleration from creatures like Bloom Tender or Faeburrow Elder is online, Sisay activates to search the library directly for Derevi, Empyrial Tactician and Emiel the Blessed. This creates an infinite mana loop that puts all legendary permanents into play, finishing the game on the spot via Mount Doom activations or hasty attacks with Samut, Hazoret's Champion. Free countermagic and Silence effects protect the engine at all stages.
