Deck overview

This deck is a Boros graveyard-matters midrange strategy commanded by Quintorius, History Chaser. The plan uses cards leaving the graveyard to trigger Quintorius's passive ability, creating an army of 3/2 Spirit creature tokens. The deck powers this engine through looting spells, discard-to-exile enablers like Containment Construct and Conspiracy Theorist, recurring value engines like Squee, Goblin Nabob, and efficient reanimation. Once a wide token board is assembled, the deck pivots into lethal combat using Quintorius's −4 double strike ability, tribal stat buffs, or overrun finishers such as Moonshaker Cavalry. The interactive suite combines efficient single-target removal like Swords to Plowshares with asymmetric board wipes like Hour of Reckoning that spare tokens. While lacking stack countermagic and noncreature tutors, the deck achieves high operational consistency through commander-driven card draw, redundant graveyard extraction mechanics, and dedicated protection cards that shield its planeswalker and creature base.
