Of Tricks and Temptations: Alela, Cunning Conqueror EDH by Pusinka

Format: Commander

Commander: Alela, Cunning Conqueror

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Alela, Cunning Conqueror leads a Dimir Faerie tempo deck that wins by accruing a flying army one token at a time. The primary plan is to hold up flash Faeries and instants on opponent turns, generating tokens and goading blockers while drawing through Kindred Discovery and Tegwyll, Duke of Splendor. The secondary plan is recursive value: Whip of Erebos, Agadeem's Awakening, Bloodline Bidding, and Halo Forager turn the graveyard into a second hand. Alela is the token engine and goad source but not a dedicated combo piece; Bitterblossom acts as a hidden commander that keeps the Faerie machine running independently. The deck closes out with Notorious Throng's extra turn and a reinforced flyer swing.
