Deck overview

Genghis Frog commands a Simic midrange deck centered on Mutant and Changeling tribal synergies and +1/+1 counter distribution. The primary strategy focuses on deploying Genghis Frog early on Turn 2, followed by a continuous curve of Mutant creatures such as Crustacean Commando, Barkform Harvester, and Ray Fillet, Man Ray to generate Mutagen artifact tokens. These tokens are cracked to continuously grow the board, triggering counter-based payoffs like Beast, Erudite Aerialist and utilizing trample enablers like Training Regimen. Card advantage is sustained through top-deck manipulation via Mikey & Don, Party Planners, combat damage draws, and selective cantrips like Cowabunga!. The deck wins strictly through combat damage by developing overwhelming trampling and flying board states over multiple attack rotations. While the deck possesses resilient mid-game creature generation and targeted protection spells, it remains vulnerable to sweepers and lacks proactive stax pieces or instant-win combos.
