Vihaan // Smaug // Treasures by Skandaluur101

Format: Commander

Commander: Vihaan, Goldwaker

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Mardu treasure-matrix deck, helmed by Vihaan, Goldwaker, turns Treasure tokens into both its mana base and its army. The plan is to flood the board with Treasure generators - Smothering Tithe, Monologue Tax, Ragavan, Nimble Pilferer, Mahadi, Emporium Master - then multiply that flood with Xorn, Mondrak, Glory Dominus, and Academy Manufactor. At the beginning of combat, Vihaan animates the entire hoard into hasty 3/3 Construct Assassins, letting the mana itself swing as a miniature army while his outlaw creatures gain haste and vigilance. The deck closes through several overlapping channels: the Revel in Riches upkeep trigger at ten Treasures, Knuckles the Echidna's 30-artifact win, Marionette Master and Nadier's Nightblade sacrifice drains, Caesar, Legion's Emperor token burn, and the animated Treasure swarm itself. It is a midrange value engine that out-scales the table; its most glaring exposure is a near-total lack of stack interaction.
