Deck overview

This mono-red deck leverages Gimli of the Glittering Caves as a fast, scaling Voltron threat and Treasure engine. By fielding a dense roster of low-cost legendary creatures such as Norin the Wary and Kari Zev, Skyship Raider, Gimli grows rapidly with +1/+1 counters while his innate double strike doubles both his combat damage and his Treasure production. The deck accelerates into play using efficient artifacts and Treasure synergies, then applies severe pressure with Equipment like Tenza, Godo's Maul and The Reaver Cleaver. Disruptive elements such as Blood Moon and Magus of the Moon break parity against multicolor mana bases, locking opponents out of responses while Gimli and damage multipliers like Solphim, Mayhem Dominus and Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar swiftly eliminate the table.
