Deck overview

This deck is a focused Mardu aggro-cheat strategy helmed by Kaalia of the Vast. The primary game plan focuses on casting Kaalia ahead of curve, granting her haste through equipment or enchantments, and declaring attacks on Turn 4 to drop massive Angel, Demon, and Dragon payloads directly onto the battlefield tapped and attacking. Devastating drops like Master of Cruelties can eliminate an opponent instantly, while dragons like Scourge of the Throne and Hellkite Tyrant generate extra combats and steal key resources. If Kaalia is removed, the deck pivots smoothly to a secondary reanimation engine using cards like Victimize and Unburial Rites to cheat discarded threats from the graveyard. It also includes an infinite combat combo using Helm of the Host and Combat Celebrant. The deck's primary vulnerabilities stem from Kaalia's fragility as a 2/2 creature and a lack of stack interaction, requiring careful timing and protection.
