Deck overview

This deck is a high-power mono-black Aristocrats combo list led by The Ghoul, Gunslinger. The strategy revolves around sacrificing recursive creatures to generate continuous mana, card draw, and death triggers. The Ghoul, Gunslinger turns nontoken Zombie deaths into Treasure tokens and rad counters, fueling explosive turns and milling libraries. The primary win condition executes an infinite loop using Gravecrawler and Phyrexian Altar alongside drain effects like Blood Artist or The Ghoul, Gunslinger herself. Alternatively, the deck can assemble the two-card combo of Exquisite Blood and Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose to drain the table in one shot. Supported by premier tutors such as Vampiric Tutor and Buried Alive, massive card draw engines like Necropotence and Yawgmoth, Thran Physician, and asymmetric board control from Grave Pact, the deck reliably presents lethal threats on Turn 4 while dismantling opposing creature boards.
