Deck overview

This mono-blue artifact deck is commanded by Lady Octopus, Inspired Inventor, focusing on building ingenuity counters through natural card draws and cantrips to cheat massive artifact bombs directly into play. The deck curves out smoothly with low-cost mana rocks and cantrips on early turns, allowing Lady Octopus to deploy high-impact threats like Portal to Phyrexia, Krang, Utrom Warlord, and Cyberdrive Awakener by turn 5 without paying their hefty mana costs. A dense suite of counterspells, redirection effects, and artifact hexproof enablers shields the board from opposing disruption. If the commander is removed, redundant big-mana generators such as Urza, Lord High Artificer and Karn, Legacy Reforged ensure the deck can hardcast its win conditions and maintain immense battlefield pressure.
