Format: Commander

Commander: Reaper King

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Reaper King is a five-color Scarecrow tribal control-finisher: every extra Scarecrow entering is a one-shot Vindicate. The deck ramps into a heavy artifact base, uses Maskwood Nexus as a hidden commander to turn every creature and token into a Scarecrow, and then chains changelings, blink spells, and trigger doublers to wipe permanents. Morophon and Urza's Incubator reduce the commander cost, while Padeem and Darksteel Forge protect the board. The Reaper, King No More adds a secondary legend that steals creatures dying with -1/-1 counters, and Rite of Replication/Blade of Selves are haymakers that turn Reaper King into an overloaded removal spell plus combat threat.
