Cult of the False God by twarbird

Format: Commander

Commander: Karona, False God

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Karona, False God is a five-color haste enabler the deck intentionally shares with opponents: backgrounds such as Flaming Fist, Criminal Past, and Cultist of the Absolute make her a huge attacker under anyone's control, while goad effects and impetuses force those controllers to point her elsewhere. The primary path is combat: cast Karona, layer backgrounds, and use her attack trigger to pump your token army (Adeline, Mondrak, Divine Visitation, Elspeth, Exalted Sunborn). A secondary token-Angel swarm can win without Karona, and Sifa Grent in the 99 acts as a hidden commander-style value engine. Commander damage through a hasted, double-striking Karona and goaded-table combat are the finish lines.
