Deck overview

This deck executes an aggressive Boros combat strategy combining Dwarf tribal synergies with powerful Equipment. Commanded by Thorin Oakenshield, the deck deploys low-cost Dwarves early and transitions into rapid mid-game pressure by attaching massive weapons like Colossus Hammer, Blackblade Reforged, and The Reaver Cleaver. Enablers such as Bruenor Battlehammer, Sigarda's Aid, and Codsworth, Handy Helper bypass steep equip costs, allowing the deck to swing for lethal commander or double-strike damage starting on Turn 5. Sunforger serves as a versatile utility engine, tutoring targeted removal, damage reflection, and protective spells directly from the library. While the list excels at sustained combat pressure, high single-target protection, and quick recovery from disruption, its sequential combat timeline leaves it exposed to sweepers and multi-player defense across several turns before closing the game around Turn 8.
