Commander: Galadriel, Light of Valinor

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Bant +1/+1 counter proliferate deck helmed by Galadriel, Light of Valinor, who serves as a repeatable value engine that ramps, pumps, and draws each turn through her Alliance trigger. The core strategy involves flooding the board with creatures, accumulating counters via Hardened Scales, Branching Evolution, and Doubling Season, then proliferating toward a win via Simic Ascendancy or a massive combat step. The deck includes numerous token generators, mana dorks, and proliferate enablers like Evolution Sage, Tekuthal, Inquiry Dominus, and Inexorable Tide. Its primary win condition is Simic Ascendancy (20 growth counters), with backup through combat damage from pumped creatures (Kalonian Hydra, Mossborn Hydra, Ouroboroid) and Damning Verdict to clear boards without counters. The commander is critical for sustained advantage but not irreplaceable, as the 99 contains other draw engines and ramp.
