Deck overview

This Selesnya deck leverages a dedicated +1/+1 counter theme to accelerate its mana, draw cards, and deploy overwhelming battlefield threats. Led by Hamza, Guardian of Arashin, the deck aims to place counters on low-cost utility creatures during the first three turns. Once Hamza enters the battlefield on turn 4 with a heavy cost reduction, it reduces the generic mana costs of subsequent creature spells. On turn 5, the pilot chains massive hydras, Phyrexian wurms, and artifact creatures for minimal mana investment. Card draw engines like Armorcraft Judge and Inspiring Call keep the hand full, while protection spells like Clever Concealment and Silkguard shield the board from sweepers. Trample, evasion, and scaling counters allow the deck to overwhelm opposing life totals by turn 7, with an incidental infinite combo via Basking Broodscale and Rosie Cotton of South Lane.
